Nell Schreck

Nell Schreck has always been involved in supporting the growth of people. Her strengths in communications and social media have allowed her to pursue her passion for connecting with people at all levels. She has a natural ability to ask the right questions and provide the space and safety for people to come to their own answers. Nell has devoted her life to seeking her own authenticity as a pathway to joy and success. She helps others do the same in her work with teams and individuals.

Prior to her graduation from Temple University with a degree in Broadcasting and Communications, Nell spent time at The Washington Center in DC. In working to put together news pieces she learned the value of asking questions that can shed light on the truth. When tasked with putting together stories on sensitive subject matter, Nell made room for people to open up and share their stories in a way that would honor the delicacy of the situation at hand. Her goal was always to maintain each individual’s dignity as they shared their experiences.

Nell has since parlayed those skills in her role at Legacy Teams, LLC where she builds team effectiveness. The issues typically lie in how members treat one another and communicate. Nell asks the questions that help teams identify what may be holding them back so they can move forward with more collaborative relationships. This directly impacts their ability to perform and meet their goals.

Understanding that being vulnerable is most difficult in times of uncertainty, Nell encourages those she works with to embrace those moments, as we often find the most clarity inside that struggle. As someone familiar with feeling lost, she wanted to help others who may be afraid to take the steps to gain control of their own lives. That led her to Life and Career Planning, LLC where she is a certified coach. Nell encourages those she works with to engage with the parts of themselves that they may have been missing out on. Knowing how tempting it can be to quit when uncovering things, we may not be ready to face, Nell uses the Life and Career Planning model to help break things down into manageable pieces.

Nell believes that we all have the power within us to fulfill our purpose if we take the time to reflect on who we are and what is important to us. She knows that setbacks do not equal failure but are necessary parts of the learning process. She creates a safe environment with those she coaches which allows them to explore key aspects of their life’s journey. This is critical in bringing people closer to what is true for them.

Nell values simplicity and works with individuals to set goals that fit their own personal vision. She knows that change can be difficult but believes that we all can do hard things. We are empowered to take control of our lives in ways we may have limited ourselves from in the past.

In her spare time, Nell advocates for mental health and social justice causes. She loves walking near the ocean with her miniature Goldendoodle, Grace.
